 Job Purpose

The Area Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales performance in a designated region, managing reseller partnerships, supporting Multi-Dwelling Unit (MDU) planning, and leading a high-performing sales team. This role is critical to growing fiber network adoption through strategic planning, operational excellence, and strong stakeholder relationships.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 / Matric Certificate (NQF Level 4)
  • 3+ years’ experience in sales management, preferably in the telecommunications or fiber industry.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transport.
  • Strong computer literacy (MS Office, CRM tools).

 

Description

  • Drive subscriber acquisition and achieve national and focus area net subscriber targets.
  • Identify, plan, and track MDU opportunities for fiber deployment and customer acquisition.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic resellers, clients, and key stakeholders.
  • Lead, coach, and manage a team to meet and exceed targets.
  • Ensure timely reporting, data accuracy, and effective use of sales resources.
  • Develop and support resellers to improve channel performance and compliance.
